Satta Bazar bets on Congress in Madhya Pradesh

Updated on :

Ahead of Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, Satta (speculation) market has also started predicting the fate of the upcoming electoral battle. The punters (Satoriyas) are backing Congress, media reports claimed. Apart from a few occasions, the punters, who deposited their money following ground surveys, have been proved right.

The punters also follow the pre-poll surveys, where Congress has been shown gaining grounds in Madhya Pradesh.

If the trend in Satta markets is anything to go by, Congress would end its exile in the state. As per the Jaipur Satta Market, ruling BJP will get around 100 to 102 seats and Congress to reach around 110 to 115 seats in Madhya Pradesh. According to Kolkata Satta Market, BJP will manage around 100- 103 constituencies and Congress is likely to get 112-115 seats.

BJP is ruling in Madhya Pradesh since 2003 and Shivraj Singh Chouhan led government is facing acute anti-incumbency.

BJP led Madhya Pradesh government is facing backlash over various issues including SC/ST Act, reservation in promotion and many more. Conversely, Congress party is looking to end its fifteen years of exile under the leadership of Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia respectively.
