In a shocking display, BJP leader & minister in the cabinet of Devendra Fadnavis, Pankaja Munde on Monday, April 22 said that people sceptical about the strike strikes conducted by the army would be convinced only if bombs were attached to Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
“We conducted the surgical strike after a cowardly attack on our soldiers. Some people ask what the surgical strikes was about, and what’s the evidence that they even happened. I say we should have attached a bomb to Rahul Gandhi and sent him to another country. Then they would have understood,” news agency ANI quoted Mundeas saying at a rally in the Jalna Lok Sabha constituency.
The comment a week after Munde rosed controversy with her remark of changing the Constitution. “This is not a Zilla Parishad, but a Lok Sabha election. Mahamanav Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar wrote the Constitution. We have to change the Constitution, bring new Bills and make some changes,” Pankaja Munde had said.
