The netizens in the West seem to be getting confused between actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Jameela Jamil. A Twitter user recently confused Priyanka with The Good Place actor.
The said Twitter user got confused and wrote, “Wait so did @nickjonas and @jameelajamil get divorced?” the user asked. Responding to the tweet, Jameela wrote, “A different Indian woman who doesn’t look anything like me. @priyankachopra I believe they are very happy together still.”
Priyanka Chopra was left rolling with laughter at Jameela’s response. Priyanka replied to the tweet writing ‘LOL’ with a punch, hearth, and skull emojis

For unversed, Jamil is a British actor with Indian and Pakistani heritage. Reportedly, this is not the first time that someone has confused the names of the two actors.
According to a report by Hindustan Times in 2017, actor Deepika Padukone too was mistaken for Priyanka Chopra at the Los Angeles airport by Hollywood media. The actor had responded by saying that the episode was racist and ignorant and just because two people have similar skin tones, does not mean they are the same people.
On the work front, Priyanka was recently seen in The White Tiger and We Can Be Heroes. She also released her memoir Unfinished. The actor is looking forward to the release of Text For You, Matrix 4 and her Prime Video web series Citadel.
