This time, her mother Poonam Sinha also spoke about it and gave a calm but funny reply. In a chat shared by Instant Bollywood and covered by Hindustan Times, Poonam said, “Pata nahi kitni baar nani bana diya humko. Lekin chalo, woh khushi bhi humko milegi, zaroor milegi woh khushi (I don’t know how many times they’ve already made me a grandmother. But that happiness will come to us too, and it definitely will).”
She also spoke from the heart while remembering the day Sonakshi came into her life. Poonam said, “Woh moment toh sabse accha moment tha humari life ka jab humare ghar mein betiya aayi. Mujhe lagta hai zindagi betiya ke bagair kuch hai hi nahi. Betiya ka hona bahut zaruri hai (That was the most beautiful moment of our lives, when daughters came into our home. I feel life is nothing without daughters. Having daughters is very important).”

Rumours Started After a Public Appearance
The pregnancy talk around Sonakshi grew stronger last year after she went to a Diwali party with her husband Zaheer Iqbal. People on social media started guessing she might be expecting her first child after seeing her traditional outfit and the way she posed in photos. But Sonakshi did not stay quiet. She answered the gossip in her own funny style on Instagram and wrote, “World record holder for longest pregnancy in human history (16 months and counting, according to our lovely and hyper-intelligent media), simply for posing with a hand around the midsection.
