In a sudden turn of events, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced to dissolve the Delhi unit of the party with immediate effect.
The move came three days after the of Uttar Pradesh unit of the party was dissolved in a similar mov.
Party General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav made the announcement in a statement, saying the Delhi unit had been dissolved “with immediate effect”.
On August 23, Akhilesh Yadav had dissolved the state unit of the party in Uttar Pradesh.
