Street Vendor caught mixing toilet water in ‘pani puri’ in Mumbai’s Kolhapur

In a shocking incident, a street vendor selling ‘Panipuri’ in Kolhapur was caught on camera mixing toilet water. The vendor is a popular spot for people who like to eat ‘Panipuri. The food cart is usually found near Kolhapur’s Rankala lake. His cart is named ‘Mumbai Ke Special Pani Puri wala’.

But when people to came to know about the video where he is seen filing a can with toilet water and then mixing it in ‘Pani puri’ water they flew into a rage and damaged his cart. They threw everything on the road and even destroyed the food cart.

Back in 2017 in Gujarat, a panipuri vendor named Chetan Nanji Marvadi was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for mixing toilet cleaner in ‘pani-puri’.

In another similar incident, a pani-puri vendor was caught urinating in the serving vessel. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had then attacked over 300 stalls selling pani-puri and protesting against one pani-puri vendor who was caught on camera urinating in a vessel used to serve his customers.
