The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has now freed Bihar IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from quarantine.
The Bihar cop was sent to the 14-day quarantine by the BMC soon after his arrival in Mumbai on August 2. He was assigned the task to lead the probe into late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
The BMC has allowed Tiwari to leave the quarantine Centre on a condition that the Bihar cop would leave Mumbai by August 8.
Earlier, a team of four officers of Bihar Police probing the sensational death case in Mumbai on Thursday had returned back to Patna and met Inspector General to submit a report on the case.
