Kapil Sharma had set the comedy standards so high with his show that no other show could have matched up the level since his break from the TV show. The comedian who got into alcohol addiction and eventually damaged his health has finally made his way back to the showbiz after checking himself into a rehab to get rid of his alcohol addiction.
Almost after a year, the show has returned to the small screen featuring Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Rohit Shetty as the guests for the first episode. The cast of Simmba along with Kapil Sharma and his team spread the laugh riot all over.
‘The Kapil Sharma Show (Season 2)’ has retained their old cast including Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda, and Sumona Chakravarti. Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek also teamed up for the 2nd season of the show which successfully fulfilled the shortage of the famous character ‘Gutthi’ played by Sunil Grover, as he was busy with his Bollywood project ‘Bharat’.
Fans were excited to see Kapil-Krushna duo together on stage and they exactly lived up to their expectations. The duo along with the ever-energetic Ranveer Singh’s antics proved to be a laugh riot on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. Sara Ali Khan also teased Kapil on his never-ending crush over Deepika Padukone which was accompanied by Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh.
Kapil made his comeback with a bang and the show’s Judge Navjoth Singh Sidhu also welcomed the first episode of the show by quoting, “Ek saal se India hasna bhul gaya tha.”
Fans from all over the country, Bollywood celebrity Rahul Dev and film and television critic Salil Arunkumar Sand took to Twitter to praise and congratulate Kapil Sharma and his team on their huge comeback.
