Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, and Zaira Wasim starrer ‘The Sky Is Pink’ released on Friday and the movie is receiving humongous responses from the critics and fans. However, the first-day collection of the film was not up to the mark and was also shocking at the same time.
On the first day, it only collected Rs 2.20 crore net approx on day one. However, day two has seen growth. The film has managed to collect Rs 4 crore on the first Saturday taking the total collection to Rs 6.50 crore, as per Box Office India.
The film is currently competing with two of the major blockbusters War and Joker. The Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff starrer War has gained momentum at the ticket windows and is currently unstoppable.
Shonali Bose’s directorial film is based on late teen motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who suffered from pulmonary fibrosis.
The film is expected to grow on Sunday and next week.
