This year has seen many grand weddings and the amount of money spent on most of these weddings is insanely huge. But breaking the monotony, a man in Karachi, Pakistan had a big fat wedding, but in a pocket-friendly budget.
Rizwan capped the expenses at 20,000 Pakistani rupees which comes to Rs 10000 and still managed to pull off a marriage considerably grand. He later even tweeted about how he managed to do this miracle at a time where marriages cost fortunes. He called it ‘apni marzi ki shaadi’.
Here is how pulled off the unimaginable.
Guys shaadi season hai so here’s my wedding story in a thread so you guys know that having apni marzi ki shaadi is possible.
My guest list had 25 names: friends and parents. The venue was my terrace. The menu was chicken tikka, seekh kabab, pathooray chanay halwa strawberries.

I set my max budget at Rs. 20,000. A friend lent his cooks, I bought the chicken and masalay from that money and helped prepare it all. Wife cooked khattay alu as a starter. Dad bought fairy lights n put them up on the terrace.
