Three New Vande Bharat Trains: Indian Railways is all set to launch three new Vande Bharat Express trains on August 10, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag them off virtually. These new routes will give passengers faster, smoother and more comfortable train rides. The trains will run between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Amritsar, Pune and Nagpur’s Ajni, and Bengaluru and Belagavi. Once these three new trains start running, the total number of Vande Bharat Express trains in India will reach 150.

At present, 147 Vande Bharat trains already run across different parts of the country. This new launch will take that number to a new milestone. All three new routes are expected to help regular travelers, tourists and pilgrims reach their destinations much quicker and with better onboard comfort.

Katra to Amritsar Vande Bharat

One of the new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Amritsar. The train number 26406 will leave Katra early morning at 6:40 am and reach Amritsar by 12:20 pm. On its way, it will stop at places like Jammu, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar City and Vyas. The return train, number 26405, will leave Amritsar at 4:25 pm and arrive back in Katra at 10 pm.

This train will run six days a week, except Tuesday. Officials from the Jammu Railway Division confirmed that PM Modi will inaugurate this train virtually. The Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Jammu Division, Uchit Singhal, shared that this train will be a big help for those traveling to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. He said it will offer a fast and comfortable experience for pilgrims and other passengers.

Vande Bharat on Pune Routes Cuts Time But Soar 60-300% in Price

Pune to Nagpur and Bengaluru to Belagavi

Another important Vande Bharat Express route is between Pune and Ajni (a railway station in Nagpur). This train will also begin its service from August 10. It will travel over 850 kilometers between the two cities in less than 12 hours. This train will only have seater coaches for now and will run three times a week. It’s a long-awaited connection that many travelers had been asking for, especially people who need to travel between these two big cities for work or family reasons.

On the same day, the extended Vande Bharat Express between Belagavi and Bengaluru will also start running. This train will leave Belagavi early at 5:20 am and reach Bengaluru by 1:50 pm. The return trip from Bengaluru will begin at 2:20 pm and reach Belagavi by 10:40 pm. This service will run 6days a week and is expected to become very popular among people in Karnataka.
