Microsoft and LinkedIn have discovered 10 top jobs that are in great demand and have also offered free online training to those who are willing to work from home during the COVID-19 situation.

The coronavirus pandemic has severely affected the employment of India. The crisis made the companies across the globe temporarily downsizing operations and also making employees work from home.

The world has faced a major unemployment crisis. People are now looking for new jobs that require the right and best skills. In this regard, Microsoft and LinkedIn have discovered 10 top jobs that are in great demand and have also offered free online training to those who are willing to work from home during the COVID-19 situation.

In a blog, CEO of LinkedIn Ryan Roslansky said, “We want to help people who lost their jobs because of COVID-19 and help them get the new job by teaching them the required skills”.

According to the professional networking site LinkedIn, currently, with the help of 69 crore professionals, 5 crore companies, 11 crore job lists, 36,000 skills, and 90,000 they have identified in-demand skills, emerging jobs, and hiring patterns for these jobs globally.

Based on these figures, 10 top jobs have been identified during the global pandemic which have a huge demand and will continue to be in demand for the next 4 years while the skills required for these jobs can be learnt online.

  • Digital Marketer
  • IT Support/Support Help Desk
  • Graphic Designer
  • Financial Analyst
  • Data Analyst
  • Software Developers
  • Project Manager
  • Sales Representative
  • IT Administrator
  • Customer Service Specialist

For these 10 jobs, the employment-oriented online service has developed learning path training modules to learn its skills and a completion certificate will also be given to those wishing to work at the end of this module.

Meanwhile, India, on Monday, has overtaken Russia as the third worst-hit country by coronavirus after the total number of cases neared seven lakh. The Union Health Ministry has reported 24,248 cases and 425 deaths in the last 24 hours. The fresh cases and deaths have pushed the total cases in the country to 6,97,413 and the death count to 19,693. The recovery rate stands at 60.85 per cent.
