Not your cutesy romance, not your jump-scare horror. It’s not gonna win over the masses, but if the reviews are decent or, you know, Twitter latches on, it could snag the urban multiplex crowd who want their movies a little less fluffy. And hey, dropping before the Diwali madness might actually save it from getting trampled.
Lord Curzon Ki Haveli
This one’s dropping 11th October, with Anshuman Jha calling the shots. Arjun Mathur and Rasika Dugal are in on the fun. It’s a black comedy, so expect weirdness and probably some jokes about dead bodies (or British ghosts, who knows).

Not the sort of film that gets a ton of TV spots or massive billboards, but the film nerds and people who love offbeat stuff? They’ll sniff it out. It’ll probably live or die based on whether the critics are into it.
Vampire Saga
11th October again, but this time it’s all about fangs and fantasy romance. Vampire Saga, starring Abdul Adnan and Zuber K. Khan. I mean, vampires in Bollywood is risky, not gonna lie. Unless the soundtrack explodes on Instagram or the visuals are insane, it might just fizzle. But, if they play it right and don’t get crushed by Thamma’s supernatural hype, it could sneak into the hearts of the younger crowd who love that Twilight-meets-Bollywood vibe.
Go Goa Gone 2
Go Goa Gone 2 is rolling in on 15th October 2025. Honestly, if you loved the first one’s wild blend of chaos, laughs, and brain-munching, you’re probably already marking your calendar. Sequel territory always gets a bit dicey, but this one’s riding straight into Diwali season, which could totally boost its chances assuming people still want more shenanigans and not just mithai.

Top Bollywood Movies Releasing This Diwali 2025: Thamma
Thamma’s dropping right into the Diwali blast on 21st October. It’s already got that Maddock Horror-Comedy badge, which is kinda like getting a head start in the race. Plus, there’s a supernatural romance angle, so it’s not just screaming and running, there’s some heart stuff too. Bollywood loves mixing genres like it’s a cocktail party.
You can tell the producers are betting big on this one. They’re even attaching Dhurandhar stuff to its release, so yeah, they want this movie to own Diwali. Will it actually work? Depends if people want romance with their ghosts.
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat
This one’s also dropping 21st October, so get ready for the big Diwali clash. While Thamma’s out here being all spooky and quirky, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is going for the feels full-on relationship drama, romance, the works. Basically, if you’re not into zombies or haunted love, this might be your jam.

But honestly, two big movies dropping on the same day? Someone’s walking away with bruises. The winner’s probably gonna be whoever nails the early reviews or has the hottest leads.
The Taj Story
Slide into 31st October and here comes The Taj Story, just chilling after all the Diwali chaos. It’s more on the “serious” side social drama, a bit more thoughtful. Sometimes, people get festival fatigue and just want to watch something with actual substance. If the Diwali films turn out to be all hype, this one could sneak in and grab the spotlight.
October Hits: Movies To Kill Time Until Then
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari
This one’s already out on 2nd October. Shashank Khaitan behind the camera, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor doing their rom-com thing, plus Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf for extra flavor. The plot? Basically, Varun’s Sunny is on a mission to win his ex back, but obviously, things go hilariously off the rails because Bollywood never makes it easy.

It’s light, it’s got music, it’s got dance, classic family movie territory. Since it’s the first out of the gate, it might actually get a head start before all the heavy hitters land. If the songs are catchy and memes start flying, this could be the “safe bet” movie for everyone.
Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1
Not strictly Bollywood, but let’s not kid ourselves, Kantara’s Hindi version (also 2nd October) is getting a ton of buzz. People are hyped for its folk myth vibes, wild visuals, and just that whole “bigger than life” energy. Plus, if you’re bored of the usual stuff, this one’s basically offering a trip to another world.
