TRP Scam: Arnab Goswami & BARC CEO allegedly leaked WhatsApp chats shows Arnab’s proximity with govt. 

The hearing of the TRP scam was deferred by the Bombay High Court till 29th January. The case will be heard on 29th January. The Mumbai police said that they will not arrest Arnab Goswami till the next hearing.

TRP Scam: Republic Media editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami’s alleged WhatsApp chat is going viral on social media very fast. Screenshots of Arnab Goswami’s WhatsApp chat are being shared by a large number of people on social media. Senior Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan has also shared a screenshot of Goswami’s WhatsApp chat and demanded action while targeting him. He has also alleged that Arnab Goswami is misusing his office and using his identity in political corridors for personal gain.

Prashant Bhushan has shared these screenshots on Twitter and wrote, “These are a few snapshots of the damning leaked WhatsApp chats between BARC CEO & Arnab Goswami. They show many conspiracies&unprecedented access to power in this govt; gross abuse of his media&his position as power broker. In any Rule of law country, he would be in jail for long”.

The alleged screenshot that is going viral sees negotiation between Arnab Goswami and former BARC CEO Paro Dasgupta. People are comparing this WhatsApp leak with Radia tape and demanding action against Arnab Goswami in the entire case.  The WhatsApp chat reportedly shows talks about the TRP rating between Arnab Goswami and Paro.

Arnab Goswami in trouble! 

Likes of M.K Venu also alleged that Former BARC CEO told Arnab to use his influence with top ruling party leaders to sabotage TRAI reform to install automatic digital measurement software to replace the manual and corrupt system of meter installation households.

MK Venu further asked why the government did not made the TRP measurement digitally, in spite of so much talk about digital India.
