UGC NET Result 2023 expected soon at ugcnet.nta.nic.in; cutoff, other details

UGC NET Result 2023: The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, also known as the UGC NET Result 2023, is set to be out soon. NTA will publish the UGC NET result and final answer key on its website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who took the test must enter their application number and date of birth when checking their results. The UGC NET cutoff marks, results, and other significant developments are listed below.

The official notification states that the minimal qualifying mark for the general category is 40%, while the reserved category is 35%.

Along with the UGC NET Result, NTA publishes the category cutoff marks. According to current trends, the NTA will publish two separate UGC NET cutoff lists as cutoff percentiles and cutoff marks for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Assistant Professor & Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)’.

UGC NET Result 2023: Qualifying marks

1) General candidates: 40% on Paper 1, 40% on Paper 2.

2) OBC, NCL/PWD/ST/SC candidates: 35% in Paper 1 and 35% in Paper 2.

UGC NET Result 2023: Date

The NTA will prepare the final answer key based on the valid representations made by candidates in response to the provisional answer key before releasing the UGC NET Result 2023.

NTA conducted UGC NET 2023 from February 21 to March 16, 2023. The test was administered in five stages over 16 days in 32 shifts at 663 locations in 186 cities across the country. This year, there were 8,34,537 applicants for the UGC NET.
