Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP, was expected to declare the Class 10th and 12th result on Friday, April 24, however, now it seems like the board would not release the results. While it is now expected that the board will announce the results in the month of June.
Around 56 lakh students had appeared for the UP Board exam 2020.
As per the reports, the board has shared that the answer sheets will start getting evaluated shortly. Many state boards have already decided to start the evaluation process of answer sheets from home by the teachers.
Yet, the UPMSP has not started the same nor informed of its decision to get the answer books evaluated from home.
Recently, the additional secretary told a leading media house that because of the lockdown extension, the answer sheet evaluation will both start and end later that the pre-decided dates.
About 1.5 lakh teachers should participate in the answer assessment process. He said that the UP board seems unable to announce the UP Board Result 2020 in the first week of June.
The additional secretary also said that the board has not considered using the work of the family model for the board exam answer sheet evaluation. He said that although the examination is very important, the top priority now is to “safeguard the health and life of people.”
