UP PET 2023 Solver Gang Apprehended by Police: In Uttar Pradesh, more than 20 lakh young people will take the UP Preliminary Eligibility Test (UP PET) 2023. Even though there were a lot of applicants, some have been caught cheating to pass the test.
While they were taking a test, police caught 16 people using AI and 9 people using Bluetooth.

On October 28 and 29, tests were given in two shifts. When did the first shift start? It was 10 am to 12 noon, and when did the second shift start? It was 3 pm to 5 pm. Twenty lakh seven hundred and fifty-three people had applied to take the PET test.
With the face recognition tool, 16 candidates were caught. The UP STF apprehended members of the Solver Gang during both shifts of the PET test. The STF also found a lot of other people from the second shift who were thought to be suspicious.
There were nine candidates found using Bluetooth in Varanasi, Unnao, Banda, Prayagraj, and Kanpur. They were all arrested.
Commissioner Praveen Kumar had already said that this time, anyone found cheating will not get away with it. He had said that the members of the Solver Gang would be found and arrested with the help of AI and child recognition.
During the test, three control rooms were set up so that every neighborhood could be watched through CCTV. More than 80,000 people were sent to work across the state to run the test, and about 24,000 CCTV cameras were set up. The police and commission very strictly oversaw the test, which took place on October 28 and 29.
