UPSC CAPF notification 2020: The release of the official notification for CAPF recruitment 2020 has been deferred by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in view of COVID-19 lockdown. Earlier, the UPSC CAPF notification release was scheduled for April 22 which has now been postponed till further notice.
Candidates must keep track of the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in regarding further updates.
According to the official exam calendar released by UPSC, the CAPF preliminary exam is slated to be held on August 9, 2020.
Besides this, UPSC has also deferred the release of combined medical services exam notification which was set to release on April 8. Therefore, UPSC had also postponed all its interviews due to the Covid- 19 lockdown.
UPSC CAPF Selection Process:
Applicant having a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university can apply for the post.
Candidates need to take a written exam of two papers carrying 250 and 200 marks, respectively. Candidates who pass the written exam will be eligible for the Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.
