Shruti Sharma has bagged the All India Rank- 1 in the UPSC exams 2020. Ankita Agarwal came second and Gamini Singla is the third topper.
Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021 result was announced on March 17. Those who cleared the main examination were called for the interview round (personality test). The personality test was helds from April 5 to May 26, 2022.
As many as 685 candidates have qualified the prestigious test, it said, without sharing further details of candidates selected in the examination.
While Shruti Sharma has topped the examination, Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla have secured the second and third rank, respectively, the Commission said.
The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages – preliminary, main, and interview – to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.
Based on the result of the written part of the Civil Services Examination, 2021 held by the Union Public Service Commission in January 2022 and the interviews for Personality Test held in April-May, 2022, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:
(i) Indian Administrative Service;
(ii) Indian Foreign Service;
(iii) Indian Police Service; and
(iv) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group
