UPSC IES/ ISS exam results 2018 released @www.upsc.gov.in

UPSC IES/ ISS results 2018 update: Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC IES/ ISS results 2018 on Tuesday late evening.

“Final Result: Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2018,” read a notice on the UPSC’s official website.

While 46 candidates have qualified the exam, appointments shall be made strictly in accordance with the extant rules and the number of vacancies available.

However, scores of the successful candidates will be available on UPSC’s official website after 15 days from the date of declaration of final results.

Total number of candidates recommended for appointment to Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service are:

Indian Economic Service – 14

Indian Statistical Service – 32

Total vacancies reported by the Government for posts to be filled are as follows:

Indian Economic Service – 14

Indian Statistical Service – 33

The offer of appointment to the candidates, whose result has been kept provisional, will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents, awaited from such candidates, and clears their provisional status. The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of three months from the date of declaration of final result [i.e. upto 28/02/2019]. Such provisional candidates will submit their original documents to UPSC. If the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents then his/her candidature will be cancelled.
