9: 45 PM: Results declared on 66 seats of the total 84 urban local bodies. BJP has registered victory on 20 seats, Independents on 20 and Congress on 19. Counting of votes still underway.
9:30 PM: Of the total 1064 wards, results have been declared on 791 wards. Independent candidates have bagged 449 wards. BJP won on 212, Congress – 125, BSP – 1, Samajwadi Party – 1; Aam Aadmi Party – 2; Uttarakhand Kranti Dal – 1.
7:00 PM: Results declared on 661 out of 1064 wards so far show that Independent candidates have bagged 386 wards. BJP won on 165, Congress – 106, BSP – 1, Samajwadi Party – 1; Aam Aadmi Party – 1; Uttarakhand Kranti Dal – 1
Of the total 84 urban bodies, results have been declared on 54 seats. BJP – 22, Independent – 17, Congress – 15
Results declared on 624 out of 1064 wards so far show that Independent candidates have bagged 369 wards. BJP, on the other hand, won on 154 and the Congress on just 99 wards. Samajwadi Party and Mayawati’s BSP bagged 1 each.

Results declared on 571 out of 1064 wards so far show that Independent candidates have won on 342 wards, BJP on 139 and the Congress on just 88 wards. Samajwadi Party and Mayawati’s BSP got 1 each.
As per the EC website, trends available for 83 wards show that Independent candidates are leading on 33 wards, BJP leading on 27 wards and Congress on 23 wards.
According to the EC website, results on 386 out of 1064 wards have been declared, in which Independent candidates have won on 238 wards, BJP on 93 and Congress on 55.
DD Haat Municipal Council – BJP’s Kamla Chufaal beat Congress candidate Hemanta Bhandari.
As per the latest trends, Independents have won on 175 wards, BJP on 38 wards and Congress on 13. Independent candidates are ahead on 28 wards, BJP on 14 and Congress on 11 wards.
Ukhimath town panchayat – BJP’s Vinay Rana wins by 260 votes.

Counting of votes underway in Uttarakhand to decide the result of 4,978 candidates. The polling which took place in seven municipal corporations, 38 municipal councils, 39 nagar panchayats went on without any disturbances according to reports.
In Uttarakhand’s Assembly poll BJP outclassed Congress with a whopping victory, winning 57 out of the total 70 seats.
A turnout of 60 per cent was noted in the polls that took place two days, on Sunday.
