Katrina Kaif who was appreciated for her performance in Zero recently is no longer doing Remo D’Souza’s ABCD3 opposite Varun Dhawan. The actors were seemingly very excited for the film when it was first announced and many patted the back of Remo for getting the two ace dancers together. Now, Katrina has left the film citing a clash of dates.
However, there are more to the story than meets the eye. According to an entertainment portal, Katrina’s representatives have released a statement saying the dates for the new film overlapped with the dates she had allotted to Salman Khan starrer Bharat so she had to give up ABCD3. In fact, Bhushan Kumar who is the producer of both the films confirmed that the situation arose because of the dates clash and hence Katrina was left with no choice but to exit the film.

However, media reports are stating that Katrina is miffed with Varun and the producers for not being accommodative of her predicament. Apparently, she told a few close friends that Varun had to agree to delay the film by only a month and she would have been able to take up the project but he seemed insistent on an end-January start which put her in a fix.

On the other hand, there are speculations that the one call from Salman could have fixed the situation but that did not happen, which could mean only two things, one that Katrina herself was no longer keen on the role or Varun was not exactly gung-ho about working with her anymore. Whatever be the case the hunt for the leading actress for the film is still on.
