Jharkhand’s Shahbaz Nadeem’s clinical performance in Vijay Hazare Trophy, his best bowling figure (10-4-10-8) has also become the overall best figure for any bowler so far in a list ‘A’ cricket match in the world. The 29-year-old left arm orthodox spinner is knocking at the door of team India for selection.
The previous best figure was Rahul Shanghvi’s 8-15, for Delhi against Himachal Pradesh way back in 1997-98. On Thursday he broke two-decade-old world best figures in the bowling. He achieved this feat including a hat-trick.
Just a week ago he was one of the five bowlers sent to UAE to help Indian team to prepare ahead for Asia Cup.
He is in for India ‘A‘squads for quite a long time and very optimistic of making it to the main team of Men in blue. He is a prolific bowler and has been consistent with his wicket taking abilities.
