Vivo V15 Pro to launch world’s first 32MP pop-up selfie camera on February 20

Chinese smartphone makers Vivo have announced the launch of Vivo V15 Pro on February 20 in India. Vivo made the announcement on its official Twitter account. Vivo claimed that the smartphone is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 32MP pop-up selfie camera.

Vivo hasn’t announced the specifications of the 32MP camera sensor it will be using in the upcoming V15 Pro. However, various reports point to the fact, that it might be the recently launched Samsung GD1 32MP image sensor. This sensor is small, power efficient and comes with support for HDR and electronic image stabilisation (EIS).

Here is the look of the 32MP pop-up selfie camera phone- Vivo V15 Pro:

There will be a triple rear camera setup including a 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera sensors. However, it should be noted that the 12-megapixel primary sensor will come with pixel binning technology to offer a total of 48-megapixel resolution.

A recent leak has suggested that the Vivo V15 Pro will sport a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullView display while it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. It was also claimed that the smartphone will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while the whole packaged with backed by a 3700mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging support.

In a recent interview with IANS, a Vivo executive said that the upcoming Vivo V15 Pro will be priced at Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 in India. This is a much lower price than the Vivo Nex, which made its debut in India at a price of Rs 39,990.
