The Qualifier 2 for the Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Lions (GL) was held on 27 May, 2016 that is on Friday in New Delhi. The battle for the entry into the finals has been fought by both the teams very well but the knock from David Warner has lead his team to get into the IPL T20 finals for the 2016 season. Warner has been dramatically good this season and has put all his efforts and good batting performance that lead his team in every match.

David Warner has scored 93 out of 58 balls in the GL vs SRH Qualifier 2 match and from the beginning of the game he has played and batted in his own style. The Warner has hit 3 sixes and 11 fours and these boundaries have helped Sun Risers a lot. Warner has single handedly got his team into the finals and he has batted without losing his wicket and kept patience till the end to knock out GL and even thought the wickets are falling he batted up really well without getting the pressure felt on him and that helped the team for a chance to earn the title of the IPL for the 2016 season.

In the begging of the play the SRH team has scored 48 runs in the first 6 overs i.e. in the power play. Warner has played good shots overall and got much score by means of the boundaries. The wickets have kept falling one by one at regular intervals and these the pressure has come to build up on the Sun Risers Hyderabad but Warner knows that it’s his responsibility to get the team through the finals and for that he kept the match going on till the last over. In the last over there are only 5 runs that are to be scored by the team to get the win and the Warner has banged a four in the first ball and has leveled the scores up and then simple took a single for the next ball and finished up the game and given the much wanted win for his team.
