In a shocking video making rounds on social media, a 25-year-old man, identified as Sajin attempted suicide and shared the video of him consuming poison after a failed love affair.
According to several reports, the man was having an affair with an engineering college student from Nagerkoil and recently, the couple got married without their parents’ knowledge. After the marriage, the couple lived with their parents without revealing it to anyone. Then they met frequently and chatted with each other.
But one day, Sajin sent a message calling her as his ‘lovable wife’ and that’s when the girl’s parents found out. The reports states that the girl was then grounded and was asked to cut off all communications with Sajin.
The man then filed a petition in Madurai High Court to rescue his wife from her parents who had held her under house arrest.
Upon receiving the notice, the girl came to High Court along with her parents and said that Sajin had cheated her and coaxed her into getting married to him. She also said that she would like to continue living with her parents only. Hearing this statement, the High Court ordered the girl to go along with her parents.

A frustrated Sajin then took to social media to say that the girl was pressured to give a false statement and that he had no option but to end his life.
Sajin attempted suicide by consuming poison and soon after he posted the video, his friends rushed to rescue him. He has been admitted to Aasaripallam Hospital in Kanyakumari and is undergoing treatment.
