Indian Test veteran Cheteshwar Pujara is looking all ready for the IPL 2021 with a new batting stance in Chennai Super King’s outfit.
In the video which is being shared on Twitter, Pujara takes on Deepak Chahar and Karn Sharma for sixes. The next interesting thing in that short video is that Pujara has completely remodeled his stance. Pujara can be seen batting with a higher backlift.
Pujara began training with his Chennai Super Kings teammates in Mumbai. He was bought by the yellow brigade at the IPL 2021 auction in February at his base price of Rs 50 lakh.

Earlier, CSK’s bowling coach L Balaji had revealed that the franchise wanted to honour Pujara for his Test exploits with an IPL contract.
“The way he has played recently for India in the recent past, in Australia he deserves that. He deserves that mark of respect. One player I genuinely feel is giving his sweat and blood for the country. I feel genuinely happy for him,” Balaji said.
Notably, Pujara is yet to prove himself in the T20s. In 30 IPL games so far, he has managed to score only 390 runs at an average of less than 21 and a strike-rate of 99.74.
The Chennai-based side will start their campaign against Delhi Capitals on April 10 in Mumbai.
