During the finale of creative director Virginie Viard’s first ready-to-wear collection, a woman jumped up onto the catwalk and joined the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber on the runway.
Paris Fashion Week, which began September 23, allows major clothing and beauty brands to debut new looks for spring and summer 2020.
The finale was disrupted when the gatecrasher, who has been identified as comedian Marie S’Infiltre, climbed onto the runway, dressed in a Chanel-style houndstooth-patterned outfit and a black hat.
After sashaying down the runway, the interloper was blocked by Hadid, who took the YouTube personality by the shoulder and firmly, but politely, escorted her off the stage.
Several people expressed their astonishment over the appearance of the crasher at the show.
