A fisherman in Hawaii had a real-life “Jaws” moment when he was attacked by an enormous shark while kayaking in the ocean, and the entire terrifying encounter was captured on video!
Everything occurred on Friday, May 12… Scott Haraguchi was fishing in Honolulu, Hawaii, near the Kualoa shore. It was fortunate that he neglected to turn off his GoPro after catching a fish.
A few minutes later, everything appears normal until a tiger shark attacks Haraguchi’s kayak, attacking it for approximately two seconds as he screams in terror.
Fortunately, Scott was able to repel the shark.

Haraguchi was, of course, terrified and proceeded to alert nearby fishermen, telling KITV that he initially believed it to be a turtle.
Haraguchi stated, “I heard a whooshing sound that sounded like a boat approaching me without a motor, and when I looked up, I saw this large brown object.”
“My brain mistook it for a turtle, but after being attacked by it, I realised it was a tiger shark.”
Haraguchi also stated that he is fortunate to be alive and is concerned about the numerous shark sightings in the area, including the sighting of a 20-foot shark the day after his encounter.
“I recognise that life is brief and that time on Earth is limited, so make the most of it.”
