RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav who is serving jail term currently have been unable to campaign for the 2019 elections but that has not stopped him from mocking PM Narendra Modi on social media.

Recently the Twitter handle of RJD president uploaded a dubsmash video of Lalu mocking PM Modi mocking the poll promises made by him during the Lok Sabha polls 2014.

In the dubsmash video, Lalu can be seen lip-syncing to PM Modi saying the popular phrase – ‘acche din’- from a  2014 campaign rally. It also shows him repeating the 2014 poll promise that each citizen would have Rs 15 lakhs deposited in their bank accounts when the BJP government if elected to power, is able to bring back the black money stored in foreign accounts.

“Hindustan ke ek ek gareeb aadmi ko muft mein 15-20 lakh rupaye mil hi jaayenge (Every Indian will get Rs 15-20 lakh for free),” PM Modi is heard saying in the video and the leader is seen lip syncing on it.

The video was captioned, “Muft me le lo 15 lakhs, acche din aur jumle.” The duration of the video is around 17 seconds. At the time of publishing this article, the video had already gained over 66,000 ‘views’, and more than 11,000 ‘likes’.

Earlier, Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is serving jail sentence after his conviction in fodder scam cases, wrote an open letter to the voters of Bihar, urging them to “drive away anti-reservation and anti-Constitution Narendra Modi.”
