Instead of making a scene or panicking, the group went for a slow rescue plan. One friend held the waistband carefully, while the swimmer stepped out of the garment and then quickly wrapped himself in a towel, for privacy and so on. After that, the underwear was moved away from the pool. And a moment later, a big snake came out, leaving everyone there stunned. A few onlookers even used sticks, so the reptile would move away safely without risking anyone nearby.
Snake Reportedly Identified as a Non-Venomous Water Snake
Early claims say the snake was a water snake, which is a kind of snake commonly spotted around ponds, canals, lakes and similar freshwater places. These snakes are usually non-venomous but they can look like more dangerous species at a quick glance, and that’s exactly what triggers panic during sudden encounters.
What Should You Do If You Found a Snake?
Wildlife specialists often advise people to stay calm if you see a snake around. Fast movements, or trying to grab it or kill it, can sharply increase the chance of getting hurt. If a snake shows up in a home area or a public spot, people should keep a safe distance and call trained wildlife rescuers or local forest officials instead of handling it themselves.
