WBJEE counselling 2023 expected date
The dates for WBJEE counselling in 2023 will likely be announced soon by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). The shortlisted applicants can register for WBJEE counselling at the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. In order to admit students to undergraduate engineering and technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses at government and privately funded institutes and universities throughout the state, WBJEE is held as a state-level entrance test. On May 25, the 2023 WBJEE results were made public.
Candidates must also provide specific documents, such as their West Bengal-domiciled certificates in the required formats and their Class 10th admission cards, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, in order to register online for WBJEE counselling.
The necessary paperwork is as follows:
- Every candidate: Grade 10 Birth certificate or an admission ticket can be used to confirm your age.
- Every Candidate Class 10 Grade Report
- Candidate Class 12 Grade Report
- For applicants residing in West Bengal, a certificate of domicile

Sequencing and Category Ranks for WBJEE 2023
Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) will be the only factor taken into consideration for allocating seats, not category ranks. For the benefit of candidates in the relevant categories, category ranks are provided. While papers are reviewed by the assigned institute during counselling, category ranks are determined based on the category information provided by applicants during online applications.
WBJEE 2023 Counselling Process Steps
There are several phases to the WBJEE counselling procedure. Check out the full process below:
- WBJEE-qualified candidates must complete the registration procedure in order to participate in the counselling process.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates must log into the site after successfully registering to select their desired college and course. They need to lock the options.
- Seat Allocation: The seats will be distributed according to rank, preference, and seat availability to the candidates.
- Payment of Fees: Applicants who have been given seats must pay the required amount within the allocated time frame.
- Report to assigned college: The shortlisted candidates must now report to their assigned institutions for document verification. This is the final stage. For verification, they must have the original documents with them.
