West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam, WBJEE 2020 results expected to be released by the end of May, 2020. As per the reports, as the lockdown has been extended by the government, it is likely that the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam, WBJEE 2020 results can now be expected in May end.
Based on earlier speculations, candidates taking the test expect their test results to be announced within a week after lockdown. However, according to the results of the source, it will not be announced before the end of May.
The examination was conducted on February 2, 2020, and the answer keys were out on February 17, 2020.
Around 1.1 lakh candidates took the WBJEE exam this year. It was also said that the results will be announced after the declaration of the Higher Secondary Examination Results in the state.
The examination is attempted by the students who wish to obtain admission to various technical courses in the colleges of Bengal.
WBJEE: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should have passed 12 with minimum 50 percent marks and from a recognised college or university.
This year the exam paper as informed by the students was based on JEE Main held by NTA. Two questions were wrongly printed also.
