West Indies

After a bright start to their campaign, West Indies have tailed off with part of the blame on their reluctance to deviate from their short-ball approach with the ball. In New Zealand, they face one of the in-form teams of the tournament who are quite capable of handling the short-ball barrage.

Andre Russell is reportedly not a 100% fit and could possibly make way for one of Ashley Nurse or Carlos Brathwaithe.

New Zealand

Kane Williamson will be coming into this game at the back of a sensational hundred against South Africa earlier in the week. Apart from India, New Zealand are the only unbeaten side in the tournament and will look after to continue their winning run against Windies.

New Zealand are sitting at the second place with 4 wins in their 5 outings while one game washed out against India. West Indies, on the other side, are at seventh place with just one win in their 5 games. Windies have lost 3 matches while their one game was washed out by rain.

The 29th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between West Indies and New Zealand at the Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester on Saturday, June 22.
