Alaska PFD July 2026: Alaskans checking their Permanent Fund Dividend in July 2026 need to look carefully at the dividend year tied to their application. The Alaska Department of Revenue says the next confirmed payment date is July 16, 2026, but that payment is only for 2025 and prior-year applications that were still unpaid and had reached “Eligible-Not Paid” status by July 8, 2026. It is not the main 2026 PFD payout.

That timing matters because the 2026 filing window has already closed. The myPFD site says the application period ended on March 31, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. So anyone who applied for the 2026 dividend now has to wait for the state’s next official update on the main 2026 payment schedule and amount.

What “Eligible-Not Paid” means?

The key status to watch is “Eligible-Not Paid.” If an application shows that status, it means the state has approved it but has not sent the money yet. For the July 16 payment, that status must belong to a 2025 or older dividend application, and it had to be in that status by July 8, 2026.

If an application is still being reviewed, the payment will wait until processing is finished and the case moves into the right payment category. The state also advises applicants to keep their mailing address and direct deposit details up to date, since old information can still slow things down.

Who can get the Alaska PFD

To qualify for the Alaska PFD, a person generally must have lived in Alaska for the full qualifying year and must plan to stay in the state for good. They also cannot have claimed residency in another state or country.

Time away from Alaska can affect eligibility, but the state allows some absences for reasons like military service, education, or medical treatment. The state also says criminal convictions, incarceration, and missing application details can affect whether a dividend is paid.
