Receive Up to $349 Compensation from Apple

Receive Up to $349 Compensation from Apple: As part of a class-action lawsuit filed in 2019 in the Northern District of California, Apple agreed to pay out $35 million to long-time iPhone users.

Several of the aforementioned iPhones are alleged to be experiencing audio issues, specifically related to the audio IC chip, which controls how sounds are produced.

Despite Apple’s denials of these issues, as well as all allegations of wrongdoing, it has nevertheless agreed to a pay-out, which users may claim if certain conditions are met.

To qualify for the Apple settlement, what conditions must be met?

You may be entitled to compensation if you own an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus between 16 September 2016 and 3 January 2023. However, you must have complained to Apple about the audio problem, or any other problem covered by the settlement.

Apple’s records reflect the “covered issues” as follows:

  • Sound-Speaker
  • Sound-Microphone
  • Sound – Receiver
  • Unexpected Restart / Shutdown
  • Power On – Device Unresponsive

A greater compensation will be available to users who paid Apple for a repair or replacement phone due to any of the above issues.

If you paid for a repair or replacement, you could receive up to $349 in compensation if you complained.

How do I get compensation?

Apple customers who filed complaints or paid for repairs or replacements are considered to be class members, and they should have been notified by email or by letter that they qualify for compensation.

On the settlement website, there is more information regarding how class members can opt out of the lawsuit or submit payment information by Monday 3 June.

If you think you qualify for the settlement but have not yet been notified, or if you are uncertain whether you qualify, call 1-833-633-0343.
