Who is Azhar Iqubal: Shark Tank India has disclosed that Inshorts CEO Azhar Iqubal will serve as an additional judge this season. A few days prior to the announcement that Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and Oyo CEO Ritesh Agarwal would also be featured on the third season of the program, the announcement was made on Friday.

“The news is out. Introducing the newest Shark. Azhar Iqubal, Co-founder and CEO, of Inshorts to the Tank,” the show’s producers wrote on Z.

Who is Azhar Iqubal?

Azhar Iqubal is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi. He is the CEO and co-founder of the prominent news aggregation application Inshorts.

His age is thirty years. He co-founded the Facebook page Inshorts with Deepit Purkayastha and Anunay Arunav.

The application was introduced in 2013. In 2015, the application was released for Apple iPhones, following its inaugural success.

As per his LinkedIn profile, he ceased his studies at IIT in order to establish his enterprise. He attended IIT Delhi from 2009 to 2012.

A round of funding was reportedly raised by Inshorts in 2021 at a valuation of $550 million.
