From depression to drug abuse, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has developed several theories and angles since it’s CBI probe came into action. The case apparently put light on the tough war between the deceased actor’s family and Rhea Chakraborty’s family.
In her statement to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the suspect, Rhea has said that Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh had groped her under the influence of alcohol after which her relations soured with the actor’s family.
According to a report in India Today, Siddharth Tanwar, Priyanka’s husband refused to comment on the case. “The matter is under investigation. I would not talk about anything. We are not in the mental state to speak to the media.. it is a difficult time for us,” Tanwar said.
Who is Priyanka Singh?
Priyanka Singh along with her husband Siddharth Tanwar are practicing lawyers in Delhi. Siddharth has been practicing in the Delhi High Court since 2007. The couple shares an office in Naraina in Delhi. According to the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) entry records, Priyanka is enrolled as a member of the SCBA, but does not have a regular practice in the Apex court. However, the couple practices in the Delhi High Court and trial courts.
Priyanka is on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. However, he is not an active user of social media platforms. Her twitter bio reads, “Naturalist, star-gazer, music-lover, sports lover, Philosopher, Artist, Humorist, Reluctant Activist. In short, a researcher afterlife. A lawyer by profession.”
On August 19, Supreme Court tranferred the Sushant Singh Rajput death case to the CBI and, on the same day, Priyanka posted a picture with his late brother, thanking the apex court for its decision. She wrote, “Destiny’s Rockstar and my soul friend… it’s most melancholic- the slightest of realisation that you are not there!!! #CBITakesOver.”

Actor Rhea Chakraborty, the prime accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case was, on Friday, summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). She reached the DRDO guest house at about 10.40 am, where the CBI team is stationed to probe the case. It is reliably learnt that the CBI is also questioning other ‘unnamed’ people besides Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Neeraj, and Siddharth Pithani.
