Hollywood star Will Smith in a video message that he put out on Instagram, went all praise for Ranveer Singh. With stills from the movie, Gully Boy, Will Smith in his Instagram story said, “Yo, Ranveer! Congrats, man. I’m loving what you’re doing with Gully Boy. For me, old school hip-hop here scene… hip-hop all over the world, like that I’m loving it man. Congrats. Go get them.”
The video has since been posted by many Gully Boy and Ranveer Singh fan pages on Instagram and Twitter handles.

Gully Boy has been looting a lot of appreciations from the critics and from the audience. Apart from Ranveer and Alia’s performance in the film, the direction by ace director Zoya Akhtar is also being appreciated.
The film is based on a slum rapper from Mumbai who wants to rise above his socio-economic status to become a star. The film is inspired from two street rappers Divine and Naezy.
Special screening of the film was also held on Wednesday night by Ranveer and Alia in Mumbai. They have also received many appreciations from their families.
The film which released on 3350 screens in India and a total of 4101 screens worldwide also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Amruta Subhash in crucial roles.
The film is also expected to pick up pace over the weekend.
