World Day Against Child Labor: World Day Against Child Labour 2021 is celebrated annually on June 12. It is observed to raise awareness of the practice of employing minors as labourers and to encourage individuals to voice out against this social atrocity. This day also serves to inform the parents of these children that child labour is immoral and unlawful. This year’s motif for this special day is “End child labour immediately.” According to reports, this is the first time in roughly two decades that the global rate of child labour has increased, and millions more are at risk due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
