Xiaomi Announces Global Launch Date for 14 Series on February 25: In October 2023, Xiaomi introduced the 14 Series in China, which featured the most recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The company unveiled two devices: the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Xiaomi has formally declared that the worldwide introduction of the Xiaomi 14 Series will occur on February 25, 2024.
Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, issued the declaration via X (previously Twitter). Additionally, Xiaomi’s Global, Philippines, and Germany Twitter handles shared the teaser, confirming that the Xiaomi 14 Series will be available in multiple markets.
In India, Xiaomi has not yet declared the Xiaomi 14 Series’s release. In contrast, a strategic partnership between Xiaomi India and Leica was hinted at on the latter’s Twitter account, which subsequently announced the unveiling of a flagship product. The Xiaomi 14 Series is likely to be released in India as well, although an official release date has not yet been announced.

Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14: Functionality
Xiaomi’s 14 and 14 Pro are both equipped with the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Additionally, these devices are the initial iteration to incorporate Xiaomi’s novel operating system, HyperOS, which supersedes MIUI. For screen protection, the new flagships also incorporate Xiaomi’s self-developed Longjing Glass.
The Xiaomi 14 Series is water and dust-resistant to an IP68 standard and supports 50W wireless charging. For both devices, Xiaomi also offers a 16GB+1TB variant as the flagship model.
In China, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is also available in a titanium edition. However, there is currently no confirmation regarding the global release of this particular variant.
Lei Jun had previously disclosed his intention to introduce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Geekbench and the BIS Certification Portal have identified the device under the model number 24030PN60G. Nevertheless, the manufacturer has yet to officially declare the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s release date.
In China, the Xiaomi 14 Series begins for CNY 3999 (approximately 45,500). Global pricing for the Xiaomi 14’s base model is anticipated to begin at approximately Rs 60,000.
