Xiaomi 14 Ultra: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the top-of-the-line 14 Series, is anticipated. The company is focusing on the international launch of the Redmi Note 13 Series, including India. DCS reports that Xiaomi is secretly testing a 75mm lensed device with 3.2x optical magnification. We should take a peek.

Xiaomi Device Equipped with a Periscope Lens

Xiaomi is reportedly testing a device with a periscope lens configuration, according to a DCS Weibo post. In the comments section of the post, the source further specified that this is not the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

This new device, according to the post, will include a lens with a focal length of 75mm and an optical magnification capacity of 3.2x, enabling it to achieve both macro and telephoto focusing. This configuration is strikingly similar to that of the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which debuted a few weeks ago.

Beyond these particulars, DCS refrained from disclosing any additional information. It is worth noting that Xiaomi introduced an Ultra variant of the Mix Series after the Xiaomi 12 Series. Therefore, speculating on the specifics of this device is challenging, given that the company has not introduced any substantial enhancements to its flagships since the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Xiaomi May Switch to Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanners Starting With the Xiaomi 14 Ultra

It is also reported that Xiaomi will not be releasing the Xiaomi 14 Pro globally. Reportedly, the organization has ceased development of the global HyperOS ROM for the Xiaomi 14 Pro and is now concentrating solely on the Xiaomi 14 base model.

Xiaomi has approached the introduction of its high-end flagships to India with a modicum of caution. Instead of introducing the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the organization restricted its product introduction to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Because the company’s sister brands, Redmi and POCO, are more concentrated in the budget and premium mid-range markets, the likelihood of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra making its way to India is extremely remote.

Xiaomi recently confirmed January 4, 2024, as the launch date for the Redmi Note 13 Series in India. Based on the historical pattern of Xiaomi’s product introductions, it is plausible that a specific flagship device from the Xiaomi 14 Series could be unveiled in April 2024. However, no forthcoming Xiaomi flagship for the Indian market has been officially announced.
