Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days Anime Premiere: The TV anime of Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days is almost here and fans don’t have to wait much longer. The show will air in Japan starting September 30 on Nippon TV at 1:35 a.m. JST, which is actually October 1 if you look at the clock. After that, other networks will also show it. Every week, new episodes will air on Tuesdays late at night, which really means Wednesday morning at 1:29 a.m. JST.
The story comes from Yui Tamura’s romantic comedy manga that started on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in June 2021. The manga is still running and already has 10 book volumes, the latest one came out on March 12.

It follows a high school boy named Tsuyoshi Yano who is always unlucky and full of small accidents. His classmate Kiyoko Yoshida starts worrying about him when she sees him coming to school injured. Soon she begins following him around, watching his daily life full of bad luck, and slowly they grow closer in a sweet comedy about friendship and love.

- Taito Ban as Hashiba, the class representative along with Kiyoko

- Ryōta Iwasaki as Tanaka, Mei’s childhood friend
The anime is in safe hands with Ajia-do studio making it. Shinpei Matsuo, who worked on Ascendance of a Bookworm and Kemono Jihen, is the director. Deko Akao is writing the script, and he has worked on shows like Arakawa Under the Bridge and Ragna Crimson.
The characters are being designed by Toshihisa Kaiya, who already handled World Trigger and Bookworm. The music is composed by Hideakira Kimura, who worked on Cerberus and Gundam Build Divers.

The sound team is also very strong. Yayoi Tateishi is the sound director, known for Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! and Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions. Bit Grooove Promotion is handling sound production, while Nippon TV Music is in charge of music production. The opening theme song is called POP LIFE and it is performed by the popular group FANTASTICS.

The anime is already building excitement. A special livestream will happen on September 13, which is Yano’s birthday. Fans are expected to get more news about the show during that event. The production team also revealed two more cast members today, adding to the excitement.
