2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift India Launch: The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is expected to arrive in the Indian market later this year and some fresh spy pictures of the premium sedan reveal more about the update. While Skoda Auto India hasn’t yet announced the launch date for the updated Slavia, test mules have been seen multiple times on public roads hinting that the development work for the vehicle is in the final stages.
2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Exterior
The updated Skoda Slavia seems to be receiving some cosmetic upgrades instead of a completely redesigned styling. The pictures show a redesigned front grille, reminiscent of the updated Kushaq, LED headlights with new lighting signature, tweaked front and rear bumpers, a new set of alloy wheels, and a revised LED taillamp setup. It’s likely that the basic silhouette will remain the same.
Interior
Interior gets subtle updates. Going by the spy pictures of the interior, the dashboard layout will not be significantly altered. However Skoda may be offering some updates to the interior with new upholstery options, an updated cabin theme and possibly some new features. A larger digital driver’s display is expected along the lines of the Kushaq facelift.
It is also possible to get front parking sensors along with a few other convenience features. The big news is that Skoda may be offering rear-seat massage function in the higher variants. This feature was first introduced in the 2026 Kushaq facelift.

Powertrains
It is believed that Skoda will carry forward the existing turbo-petrol engine options for the 2026 Slavia facelift. This would mean customers can still opt for the 1.0-litre TSI engine with a peak power of 115 hp and the more potent 1.5-litre TSI motor with an output of 150 hp. It is reported that Skoda will offer an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission with the 1.0-litre TSI engine, replacing the current 6-speed automatic, while the 1.5-litre engine is likely to be mated to the same 7-speed DSG transmission.

Industry sources suggest that Skoda Slavia facelift could hit Indian showrooms in the latter half of 2026. The Skoda Slavia facelift is anticipated to come at an ex-showroom price range of roughly ₹12 lakh to ₹19 lakh. We expect a marginal increase in prices over the current model. Once launched, it will go against its arch-rivals including Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, among other midsize sedans in the Indian market.
