Hate commuting or visiting places as its too hot outside? How about a pocket-sized AC that you can carry everywhere? Well, Sony has brought just that.

Reon Pocket AC Sony’s latest crowdsourcing project can be put on back neck with dedicated underwear. The project was close to being fully funded though it is expected to ship in March 2020 and that so exclusively in Japan.

The product is controlled by mobile phone and powered by a lithium-ion battery – can run entire day with 2 hours charging. The device supports Bluetooth 5.0 LE connected phones and comes in S, M and L sizes. The product is exclusively available in Japan and is priced 14,080 yen for one machine, one underwear, while the highest one machine costs 19,030 yen and comes with five underwears.

Sony isn’t the first company to have attempted making such a wearable personal thermostat. According to Verge, Embr Wave is one of them, they suggest that the advantage of the Reon Pocket is its size, which as far as the promotional video goes will allow it to fit underneath a regular shirt.
