Apple launched the much-awaited new and cheap iPhone SE 2020 on Wednesday, April 15. However, shortly after Apple launched its second budget iPhone, the company stopped selling iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Actually, this was not unexpected, because iPhone SE 2020 is basically the successor of iPhone 8.
The new generation SE brings the latest iconic Touch ID that was in the iPhone 8 series. Since then, Apple has been producing bezel-less displays.
The iPhone SE 2020 starts at Rs 42,500 in India and looks the same as the iPhone 8.
According to MacRumours, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will no longer be sold by Apple, but will be available on specific e-commerce sites (such as Amazon, Flipkart), and will be available through some retailers.
The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the flagship iPhone X came out in September 2017. iPhone8 and 8 plus are the successors of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Interestingly, although the iPhone 8 has the latest interior and a low starting price.
