The 2020 has proved itself as a cursed year as the world is already fighting with coronavirus pandemic, after that severe earthquake and a few days back cyclone weren’t enough, a new thing in this difficult time has arrived.
A video of several swarms of locusts have wreaked havoc in several states of India and one such video came from Jaipur in which the swarm of locust were spotted on the terrace of the city.
They were also spotted on the outskirts of Jhansi district on Saturday evening, and millions of locusts were seen on trees and in Rana Heda village near Panbihar in Ujjain district, locusts made their way to the city of Jaipur on Monday.
According to a report in TOI, locusts had entered Rajasthan in April and have covered 50,000 hectares of land thus far.
The residents of Jaipur woke up to the sights of thousands of locusts resting on their terraces and swarming around and shared the apocalyptic-like photos of the Pink city’s skies.
Many of the Netizens wondered that 2020 is last year of humanity, others expressed their concern about the farmers and how the locust will damage their crops.
