Booking for Sabarimala Temple opens, 5,000 devotees allowed for Darshan per day

Devotees have to strictly adhere to all the COVID protocols while taking darshan at the temple. Devotees who will be visiting the temple before 26th December have to show up with the COVID negative certificate that was taken 24 hours prior to the Darshan.

After the Kerala High Court order, the number of devotees allowed to seek darshan at Sabarimala temple per day has been increased to 5,000. 

Minister for Co-operation, Tourism, and Devaswom in Government of Kerala Kadakampally Surendran informed that online booking for darshan has started from 6 pm on Tuesday. Devotees can book darshan by visiting the following website- Sabarimala Online (Official Website)

Devotees have to strictly adhere to all the COVID protocols while taking darshan at the temple. Devotees who will be visiting the temple before 26th December have to show up with the COVID negative certificate that was taken 24 hours prior to the Darshan. 

And those who will be visiting after the 26th of December should show up with the RT-PCR negative certificate that was taken 48 hours prior to the Darshan in Sabarimala.  

Facilities have been arranged near Nilakkal Mahadev Temple for the purpose of COVID testing. Otherwise, devotees can always undergo tests in any of the licensed booths run by the government or private agencies on the way to the temple.
