Suzuki Burgman Electric Scooter: There are currently only a few scooters in the electric segment in India. But in the year 2021, we will hopefully be seeing more launches from auto companies in this segment.

Starting this year Japanese giant Suzuki will revamp their popular scooter Burgman in an electric avatar. This electric scooter has been seen several times during testing. After the launch in the market, it will directly clash with Bajaj’s Chetak and TVS iQube. Now let’s take a look at the features and specs of this scooter:

Could go up to 100Km in one charge

Suzuki Burgman Electric will be Suzuki’s first EV vehicle in the Indian market. The scooter will further enhance the style of the IC-engine model. Last year, Suzuki made their intention clear to land in the electric scooter segment. According to the report, the electric scooter is likely to get lithium-ion batteries with an estimated range of 100 to 120 km.

Suzuki Burgman: Top speed of 80kmph

The company will incorporate features such as front disc brakes, a fully digital instrument console, alloy wheel, and tubeless tyres. However, it is expected that the Suzuki electric scooter will also be equipped with smartphone connectivity with a dedicated app. The Top speed of the Suzuki Burgman electric scooter will be 80kmph. It will be able to catch speeds of 0 to 40kmph in just 4 seconds.

Design

When it comes to the front images, halogen headlamps will be provided with LED DRLS in the spotted prototype model. While the petrol model currently on sale has been introduced with a full LED setup.

It is to be noted here that this could be a cost reduction measure or maybe not or the LED headlights could be seen in the production version. It is too early to make any decision on this. The price of this scooter is likely to cross 1 lakh INR.
