An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh, India on Friday. The quake was reported at 4:38 pm with its epicenter at a depth of 33 km north-northeast of Pithoragarh, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS), India.
The depth of the quake was 8 km.
So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced from the earthquake-hit zone.
